The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the vehicle body. During fast driving, the chassis is subjected to significant loads, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting while driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these deformations and improve body stiffness.
