Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace for Mini Coupe R58

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant body flex and deformation, as well as chassis twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
