The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and flexing during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. In these conditions, the forces acting on the chassis increase significantly due to the transfer of mass to individual parts of the vehicle.
When driving through a corner, one side of the vehicle can experience up to 3 times more load than the other. This can cause pronounced twisting of the chassis or body, consequently resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Body twisting while driving through corners can affect vehicle handling and cause understeer or oversteer.
