The chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsion of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the lower part of the chassis and reduce unwanted body twisting.
Compatibility is limited to the Nissan Juke I (F15) with the 1.5 2WD or 1.6T 2WD engine.
