Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace for Renault Scenic I

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When driving through a corner, the transfer of weight can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
