Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace for Škoda Kodiaq I (NS7)

During dynamic driving, the vehicle chassis is exposed to significant loads, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsion of the bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The mid lower chassis brace helps further connect and stiffen the lower part of the bodywork.
