The vehicle body is subjected to the greatest loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This leads to pronounced chassis flex or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear frame brace helps further stiffen the chassis at the rear of the vehicle.
