The vehicle’s chassis or body is exposed to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the force on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other. This causes the body to flex and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower brace helps further connect the mounting points and reduce unwanted body movement.
