The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
During fast cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant chassis flex, deformation and body twisting, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower brace helps increase chassis rigidity and limit twisting.
The product is intended for BMW M5 (F10) vehicles with a 4.4TT V8 engine and 2WD, and BMW M6 (F13) vehicles with a 4.4TT engine, 2WD and a Coupe body.
