The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to pronounced chassis flex or body deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase body rigidity and improve vehicle responsiveness.
