The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, deformation and torsional body twisting, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to add rigidity to the rear of the vehicle and reduce these undesirable deformations.
