Ultra Racing URRL4-1989 is a rear lower chassis brace designed to improve the rigidity of the vehicle’s chassis. It is mounted at 4 mounting points.
The chassis is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in pronounced chassis twisting, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps limit these effects by providing additional support to the lower section of the chassis.
Suitable for: Ford Everest II (UA), Ford Ranger II (PJ) / III (2AB), Mazda BT 50 I (CD/UN).
