The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts, as it is affected by transfers of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through corners, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side. This causes the chassis or body to bend and twist, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps to reduce such deformation.
