The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and increase the stiffness of the rear section of the vehicle during dynamic driving.
During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of the vehicle body’s mass. When cornering, one side of the vehicle can experience up to 3 times more force than the other, causing chassis twisting and body deformation, which can reduce tyre grip.
Chassis twisting while driving through a corner can affect the vehicle’s handling and contribute to understeer or oversteer. The brace connects the mounting points on the lower section of the rear chassis and helps limit its bending.
