The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause unwanted driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps further connect and stiffen the lower part of the chassis.
