The vehicle chassis is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce these effects.
