The vehicle chassis is exposed to high loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
During cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsion of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis flex and torsion during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear lower chassis brace helps increase body rigidity in the mounting area.
- Design: rear lower chassis brace
- Number of mounting points: 3
Suitable for: Infiniti G II (V36), Nissan Skyline IV (NV36).
