The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest stress during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the vehicle’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to 3 times greater than the other. This causes significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps improve the rigidity of the rear section of the chassis and limit its twisting.
