The vehicle chassis is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than the load on the other side. This causes the chassis or body to twist and bend, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps reduce these effects by providing additional support for the body.
