The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads while driving, especially due to the transfer of the body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in increased chassis twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This rear lower chassis brace is designed to provide additional support for the rear section of the vehicle body. It is attached at 4 attachment points.
Suitable for: Mazda MX 5 II (NB).
