Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mazda MX-5 ND

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

During cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more heavily than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear lower chassis brace helps reduce unwanted body movement and contributes to more stable and predictable vehicle behaviour.
