Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body. It has 2 mounting points and is intended for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W221) S350 3.5 V6 2WD, model years 2005–2013.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These loads are caused primarily by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can result in increased twisting and deformation of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

Suitable for: Mercedes-Benz S-Class IV (W221).
