The vehicle chassis is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps limit these unwanted chassis movements and improve vehicle stability.
