The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the car due to driving and the forces placed on it. During fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration, the transfer of the vehicle’s mass affects the body.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause considerable twisting of the chassis or deformation of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear part of the body.
- Design: 3-point rear lower brace
- Number of mounting points: 3
Suitable for: Ssangyong Rodius I (A100).
