The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to twist and bend, which can result in the tyres losing grip. Such deformations can also cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body. It attaches to 4 mounting points.
