The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When weight is transferred in a corner, one side of the vehicle can be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This causes considerable chassis flex, or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps improve the rigidity of the rear section of the chassis. It has 4 mounting points and is intended for the Suzuki Kizashi I 2.4 2WD, model years 2010–2013.
