The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle’s chassis, which is subjected to significant loads from the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can cause significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
