Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Volvo XC40 I 2.0T 4WD

The vehicle’s bodywork or chassis is exposed to significant loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can lead to significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

This rear lower brace helps reduce twisting of the rear section of the chassis and improve body rigidity.
