Ultra Racing rear lower chassis reinforcement for Kia Optima II (MG)

A car’s chassis is exposed to considerable forces under driving loads, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body shell, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing reinforcement helps increase the rigidity of the rear lower section of the chassis.
