The vehicle body is exposed to heavy loads during fast driving, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps increase body stiffness at the rear of the vehicle.
