Ultra Racing rear strut brace for BMW 5 E34 connects the rear damper mounting points and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.
During fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads due to weight transfer. When cornering, one side of the vehicle can be loaded up to three times more than the other, causing the body to bend and twist and potentially reducing tyre grip.
Body flex during cornering can also affect vehicle handling, for example through increased understeer or oversteer. The brace helps increase the stiffness of this part of the body.
