The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest stress due to driving conditions. This is particularly evident when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to 3 times more force than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
