The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater loads on the body, twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps further connect the mounting points of the rear suspension and reduce unwanted body movement.
