The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace with 2 mounting points is intended for the Ford Laser (KF) 1.6 2WD, model years 1989–1994.
The car’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the bodywork’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
