The Ultra Racing two-point rear upper strut brace is designed to reduce chassis flex during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle’s body mass.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the body and chassis to flex, consequently resulting in reduced tyre grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can affect the vehicle’s handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The brace helps to further connect the mounting points of the upper rear section of the chassis.
