The vehicle body is the part of the car most exposed to stresses caused by weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to considerable twisting and deformation of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Body deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace connects the suspension mounting points and helps reduce body twisting.
