The car body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. The result is greater loads on the body, body flex and loss of tyre grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps further connect the mounting points and limit body flex.
