The Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Honda S2000 helps reduce body flex during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. It is intended for Honda S2000 AP1 vehicles with the 2.0-F20C engine and Honda S2000 AP2 vehicles with the 2.2-F22C engine.
During dynamic driving, the vehicle body is subjected to heavy loads, mainly due to weight transfer. When cornering, one side of the vehicle can experience up to 3 times more force than the other, causing the body to bend and twist and consequently reducing tyre grip.
Body flex during cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling, for example by increasing understeer or oversteer. The brace connects the mounting points and contributes to greater stiffness in the rear section of the body.
