The vehicle body is the part of the vehicle most exposed to loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant body twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
