Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Kia Soul I

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace is designed to stiffen the body of the Kia Soul I. It attaches at 3 mounting points.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
