Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Kia Sportage II (KM)

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the vehicle body. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to weight transfer, which loads and twists the body.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in greater bending and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip. Such deformation can also affect handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The brace is designed for the rear of the vehicle and attaches at 2 mounting points.
