The Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Mazda 3 (BL) is designed to increase body stiffness and limit twisting when cornering, braking and accelerating. It attaches to 4 mounting points.
During dynamic driving, the car body is subjected to heavy loads, primarily due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to 3 times more force than the other. This results in body twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip. Chassis twisting can also cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The product is designed for the Mazda 3 (BL), 1.6 2WD Sedan, model years 2008–2013.
Suitable for: Mazda 3 II (BL).
