The vehicle body is among the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, vehicle weight transfer affects body stiffness.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side. This can cause the body to twist and flex, consequently reducing tyre grip. The strut brace helps reduce unwanted body deformation and limit effects such as understeer and oversteer.
