The Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Mazda RX-7 III (FD) connects the suspension mounting points and helps reduce chassis flex under high loads.

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body loads during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

In some cases, load transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to 3 times more load than the other. This results in significant deformation and flexing of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flexing when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. This is where Ultra Racing comes in.
