Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204/E-Class C207

The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The strut brace helps connect the mounting points, thereby reducing unwanted body twisting.
