Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Mercedes-Benz CLK C209

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps increase body stiffness and limit twisting.
