The car body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The brace has 4 mounting points and is designed to provide additional reinforcement for the rear section of the body.
