The car’s chassis is subjected to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant body flex and deformation, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps increase body stiffness around the mounting area.
