The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, primarily due to the transfer of body weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant body flex and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps increase body rigidity around the mounting area.
