The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater body flex and torsional deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can also cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace helps further connect the mounting points of the rear struts, thereby reinforcing the rear section of the body.
